Just ran across this must-have utility. Probably the coolest free remote desktop solution. No need for a client install. Better yet, no need to install anything. Just download the self-contained .exe from the link below, and take control over any PC in your network! Refresh is great, and connects very quickly. I'm running this on Vista, and love it. This utility will discover all of the hosts in your network, so you can just click on the PC you want to manage.

Now that the days of taking your networking exams are over, and you don't really remember how to convert IP subnets to binary to find out how many hosts you can have per subnet - do what everyone else does, let the computer figure this stuff out for you.
SolarWinds Advanced Subnet Calculator allows you to be that lazy admin! Not only does it calculate IP subnets, etc... but will also perform WHOIS lookups.

So Apple revealed the new iPhone today. Pretty cool stuff, however I am slightly disappointed.
I had heard rumors of a widescreen iPod for about a year now. I had also heard the buzz about the iPhone about 6 moths ago. I had no idea these two would be integrated into one device which will become the ultimate PDA. I believe the largest drive available is 8GB.
So I've waited all this time, and all I get is 8GB of storage? That kinda sucks. I currently have one of those now ancient 5G 30GB Video iPods with a tiny screen. Why didn't they make their 80GB Video iPod WideScreen? Why do I have to buy a cell phone so that I can watch WideScreen movies?
I hope that the iPhone is not the 6th Generation of iPod. I hope to see a new iPod that is dedicated to playing Media!!
Nice phone though. Actually, a really really cool phone. But I dont want a new phone damnit. I want a new MP3 Player. |
